This Privacy Policy explains how Avid Research Labs, doing business as Avid Peptides, collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://avidpeptides.com, create an account, make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise use our services. It does not govern information handled solely by a third party under that party's own privacy notice.
Information you provide may include your name, organization, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, account credentials, order details, intended-use or eligibility information, communications, reviews, survey responses, and marketing preferences.
Payment card details are generally collected and processed directly by our payment provider. We may receive limited payment information such as transaction status, card type, and the last digits of the card, but we should not receive the complete card number or security code.
Information collected automatically may include IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie or similar identifiers, cart activity, and interactions with emails or the website.
We may receive information from service providers and business partners, including payment processors, fraud-prevention vendors, shipping carriers, analytics and advertising providers, email or SMS platforms, and identity or compliance-verification services.
We use personal information to provide and operate the Services; create and secure accounts; process payments and fulfill orders; verify eligibility, intended use, and transactions; communicate about orders, support, safety, policy, and security; detect and prevent fraud or misuse; maintain records; improve site functionality and customer experience; measure marketing performance; send marketing when permitted; comply with law and enforce our agreements; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may disclose personal information to vendors that perform services for us, such as website hosting, e-commerce, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, communications, customer support, and shipping; to professional advisers and insurers; to regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when disclosure is required or reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or protection of rights; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of the business.
We do not sell personal information for money. If our use of analytics or advertising technology is treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law, you may have the right to opt out as described below.
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number and consent record to send the messages you requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing. We may disclose this information only to service providers that help us deliver the messaging program, and only as necessary to provide that service or as required by law.
We and our providers may use essential cookies for security, account access, cart functions, checkout, and site operation; preference cookies to remember settings; analytics technologies to understand use and performance; and advertising technologies, if enabled, to measure campaigns or provide relevant advertising.
You can adjust browser settings and any cookie-control tool made available on the site. Blocking certain cookies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning. Where required, nonessential cookies will be used only after the required choice or consent.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in the message. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. We may still send nonmarketing communications, such as receipts, account security notices, and order or shipping updates. Browser or device controls may allow you to limit cookies or advertising identifiers.
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, or delete it; obtain a portable copy; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request.
To submit a request, email info@avidpeptides.com with the subject Privacy Request. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the state in which you reside. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may be required to provide signed permission and identity verification. You will not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.
If we deny an appeal where an appeal right applies, you may contact the relevant state regulator or attorney general. California residents should also be told whether the business is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act and, if so, provided all notices and metrics required by that law. Have counsel confirm which state-specific provisions apply before publication.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including fulfillment, account administration, customer support, fraud prevention, tax and accounting, legal compliance, disputes, and enforcement. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, legal obligations, operational need, and risk. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely reliable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a unique password, protecting credentials, and notifying us of suspected unauthorized account activity.
The Services are intended for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ. We do not represent that products may lawfully be ordered or delivered outside the locations we expressly serve.
The Services may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Material changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or legally required.
